On labor day we went on a hike to Hocking Hills State Park The Park is about 45 minutes from our home. The Park was beuatiful with nice trails and great scenery. We visited two spots, the most know being old man's cave which really was a nice site. They say the fall is breathtaking here when the leaves start to change colors, so we will have more pictures later this fall.

Madison enjoyed her perfect birthday today. She awoke to a new scooter and pajama outfit, thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Starr, a new backpack with jelly bellies, thanks to Grandma and Granpa Tischner and a new pet. At least as close to a new pet as she is going to get. Next she enjoyed a favorite heart shaped waffle breakfast.
The party began at ten with a slip and slide, water balloon games, sprinklers and water guns. The entire neighborhood showed up for the party. We had presents and then Emily's home made icecream cake.
After the party we had her request of macaroni and cheese with some friends over. The day ended with pizza, her very own rootbear and a trip to the pool.
